About Local Deals Fundraising

Local Deals Fundraising was founded in Anne Arundel County, Maryland by Jeff and Logan Reece — a father-and-son team who watched too many coaches, PTA volunteers, and parents burn out on outdated fundraisers that demanded enormous hours for modest returns.

We come from a sports background and are sport-minded — that's where this idea started. We also spent years in advertising and marketing for local businesses. Connecting those two worlds, we realized there was a clear win-win-win: businesses get more marketing exposure, sports teams and community groups gain a no-cost way to fundraise, and supporters who buy the app end up saving real money at the places they already love.

We built Local Deals around three principles: it has to be free for the organization, it has to be digital so it scales without volunteer hours, and it has to give supporters something they actually want. The result is a fundraising platform that turns a discounted local coupon app into real revenue for schools, sports teams, and community groups across Anne Arundel County and the surrounding region.
